I get weird on the final day of gun deer season. I’m usually done hunting for the day/season by mid-morning so I can get home before dark. As I drive home past all of the fields I think about how they’re being hunted hard for the last time in 51 weeks. I think about how much I looked forward to the season and how it all flew by in an instant. It’s a melancholy day. I hope you enjoyed your season and your Thanksgiving. Hopefully we’ll have plenty to talk about on the site for weeks to come. Tomorrow we give the woods back to the bowhunters. We’ll be back later this week with updates and the Week 10 prize.
