Shotgun Drawing

I owe all of you an apology. I’ve fallen behind on adding prize winners to the website. We’ve had some odd drawings this season either during presentations or podcast recordings, and then they don’t get posted on the site. Last week when I added the Joe Delebreau prize I thought, “Something seems off here. I feel like I missed one.” Then I talked to Jeff and realized that I actually missed two. Time to get us caught up.

The first prize was actually not one of our weekly prizes, but a bonus. Jeff Howland from Process & Mechanical Systems, Inc. (PMSI) did an informational session with people from Tweet Garot on Tuesday, October 24, and gave away a shotgun at the end of the meeting. To be specific, Jeff presented us with a Winchester SXP pump 12 gauge shotgun with a hard case. Here’s the video:

Sorry for the low quality video of the drawing, but it was broadcast across a Microsoft Teams meeting, so you’re not going to see the smooth wheel spin that you’re accustomed to. Congrats to C.J. Thurner on winning the shotgun. C.J. is a Project Manager/Estimator out of our Altoona location, which is appropriate since Jeff was in Altoona at the time of the meeting and was able to award him the shotgun while he was there.

There’s more to this: Jeff and PMSI actually donated TWO identical shotguns, so there’s another one to give out. That will be our Week 8 prize and will be posted on the site tomorrow, so keep your eyes open for the winner.
