Week 8 Raffle Prize

Quick story: Jeff and I recorded a podcast on Friday afternoon and I have to say I think it was one of our better ones. A lot of laughs and mostly just bullshitting about deer hunting for 25 minutes. I noticed a few minutes in we were getting an error message on the board about the SD card that I hadn’t seen before, but the recording continued. Jeff and I talked about it and I was confident that it was something I could fix when I took the file back and edited it. When I got to my home computer and editing software it was quickly obvious that I wouldn’t be able to fix it. I believe I know what the problem was with the error and we should be back to normal this week. We’ll have more than twice as many deer to talk about on the next episode, so expect this week’s to be a long one.

I’m guessing you all skipped the podcast shit and came straight to this so I’ll stop wasting your time. In the midst of the podcast chaos, I forgot to post the winner of the raffle prize. Last week we had another ladder stand donated by Ben Bertram at Performance Insulation. If you’re keeping track, this is a second ladder stand donated by Ben at Performance insulation this season. It was supposed to arrive with the first one but there was a shipping problem that Ben and Jeff caught and it didn’t arrive until last week. Can you tell I’m just making you wait for the winner by telling stories now?

The winner of the ladder stand was Hayden Splan. Hayden is an engineer in our De Pere office. Congrats, Hayden, and thanks again to Ben Bertram and Performance Insulation for the great prizes. Hopefully Hayden and our previous winner, Gene, will be able to put those to use yet in 2024. We’ll be back again in a few days with another winner.
