Deer Drawings

We are on to our final prizes of the 2024 TG Buck Pool. If you recall, in 2023 we started two separate cash prize drawings at the end of the season. These were created to encourage participants to report any deer taken. We brought them back for 2024.

The first prize was for anyone who harvested a deer – buck or doe – that did NOT finish in the top five payout. In past years this was typically a relatively low number of people. Last year I believe the number was at or near 50. This year we had 91 deer harvested that did not finish in the top 5. This was a drawing for $300. The winner is…

That is officially it for our 2024 Buck Pool prizes. Congrats to all of our winners over the course of the season. By my rough count we gave out approximately 62 prizes this season, which is amazing. All of this is thanks to the work of our Buck Pool Organizer, Jeff Blohowiak. Thanks for all of your work again this season, Jeff. Thanks to all of you for making this our biggest year of the Buck Pool to date. See you again in August.
