Luke DuBois Bow Buck

Congrats to Luke DuBois on tagging this beautiful 10 point buck this past weekend! Here is what he had to say:

It was a frosty 32° morning in a local swamp. He came out of some thick brush at 20 yards, giving me a brief moment to shoot or pass. I passed. As he made his way past me thru more brush, I got a better look and regretted my decision. I drew back, hoping he’d give me another opportunity, which he did at 30 yards quartering away. The arrow slipped thru him, and he kept walking at the same pace he was as if nothing had just happened, not even a flinch.  Seeing that had me thinking I missed, but my arrow ended up hitting right where I thought it did. He walked 75 yards and expired on the trail!

Nice job Luke! Looks like your patience paid off! Luke is currently a 4th year plumbing apprentice out of Local 400 working on the Bellin ASC project.
