Justin Johnson recently returned from a Montana trip and it couldn’t have went any better for him! This has turned into an annual trip he goes on with his brother-in-laws and one of them is our very own John Buresh. They have been successful in years past and this year they didn’t disappoint. Check out what Justin had to say about his hunt:
“I’m going to try to keep this short and sweet. I had a successful Montana hunting trip bagging a 5×5 bull the second day of hunting and then shot a 5×5 muley on Wednesday. We also had some luck calling coyotes at night. Every night we got back to the hotel, I’d check my cell cam pics. Wouldn’t you know it that almost every day, I had a 10 pt at home coming in during daylight. It made me sick to my gut as I had two kids waiting to tag him. I got home Saturday morning. I took two of my daughters out with the crossbows and in 45 minutes, Lexi put him down!”
