Jim sent in his story of his most recent fishing adventures with co-workers and friends. Jim works out the Wisconsin Rapids location as the Sheet Metal Labor Coordinator/Designer. Thanks for sharing Jim and for showing off your custom trophy! Here is what Jim had to say:
We had a small contest with co-workers and friends on the Wisconsin river 4/20/24.
There were 8 boats, 2 people each.
We used the fish donkey app which allowed us to add total inches of walleye caught, which was great because then even short fish counted.
There were only 4 legal walleye caught that day, but like I said the app allows you to add up all fish including shorts.
The weather was absolutely miserable, windy and cold!
I fished with a friend Tony Schmidt, we ended up with a total of 80.25”
Doug Fuller and brother Mike total was 79.25”, and much to their disappointment they had a fish in the boat at 1:00 pm but,
the tournament ended at 1 pm and the app would not allow him to register, a few of us had a pretty good laugh about this!
Justin Beck had 64.25”
Bob Latzig 41.25”
Biggest fish was Bob Latzig with 15.5”
Smallest walleye was 9.75” for Justin beck
Although the fish were small and the weather was terrible we all had a great time!
