Congrats to Jake Harrison on his 200lb bear he recently harvested! Here is his story:
“Got this guy on opening day sitting over bait. Saw 8 different bears that day, including a sow with 3 cubs. She was looking for me trying to flush me out after she got my scent which made it a pretty intense sit! She was jumping on brush piles, swatting and snapping dead trees to try and ward me away. After a while, she and the cubs settled down and stuck around for about 15 minutes and right after they left, the bear I shot came in. One of the best days I ever spent in the woods!”
I would have to agree, that must’ve been pretty intense sit with an angry sow on the lookout! Congrats on the bear, Jake! Great white badge on that one!
Another huge congrats to Travis Tlachac on his 2024 bear harvest. With the help from his buddies hounds, it made it much easier to land this brut! This bear weighed in at 246lbs!
