Hunter Tingley Bear

Congrats to Hunter Tingley on filling his bear tag! Hunter is a plumber working out of the De Pere/ Wrightstown location.

Was an exciting bear season. Overall treed 6 bear, 3 were sows with cubs and 3 were around the 150lb range so I passed on them. We jumped this bear around 9:30 on Saturday and he ran till about 2:00. He refused to tree, and it was getting warm out, so we had to enter the woods before the dogs got beat up. Me and one other guy walked about 350 ft into the woods to catch the bear off guard and boy did we. We got about 20ft away from him and he was trying to swat at the dogs so he diddnt even see us there so I shot him with the rifle right in the throat and he fell onto his back and got right back up and charged me so I pulled out my 44 mag quick and shot him 2 more times and he died at my feet! He weighed in at 312lbs dressed. With a hunt like that I was not worried about the weight, that was one hell of an experience!
