Congrats to Spencer Wosick on his huge 8 point taken over the weekend! Spencer is a Plumbing Apprentice out of our Altoona location. Spencer bagged this buck near the town of Alma in Buffalo County.
“Me and my dad got in at about 6:00am to beat all the neighbors in, hoping they would push one onto our land. It was a morning filled with car traffic as people made there way to there stands and as it started to break, we started looking around for deer entering the food plot. At 6:36am I looked out into the food plot and I saw a dark body standing in the plot. I pulled up my binoculars too see what deer it was and the first thing I saw was his bladed g2 and I said, “That’s him!” So my Dad and I started to get ready but we had one problem, we had 6 minutes until shooting light! We double checked the shooting time and it was in fact 6:42am so we let 6 miserable minutes go by and as 6:42 turned on our phones, I took the safety and took the 70 yard shot. It was good to be back in the stand sitting with my dad, just like old times sharing the excitement with him!”
What a great story and even better to make it with your Dad! I can’t wait to see what this behemoth scores! Stay tuned as Spencer is going to get an official scorer to put the tape on him…my guess is high 140’s and maybe into the 150’s! What a buck and great picture!
