Logan Jeanquart Bow Buck

Congratulations Logan Jeanquart on an awesome buck! Logan is a 3rd year sheet metal apprentice out of Green Bay and is the son of Josh Jeanquart. Here is what Logan had to say:

“We never had a picture of this buck up until about 20 minutes before I killed him. The picture was taken on the other side of the corn field that I was sitting in. I Figured it was going to go into the corn and never be seen again. Then, about 10 minutes later which felt like an hour, I seen the corn moving and sure enough, it was him! He walked out of the corn and headed my way towards a cedar branch that was overhanging the path that he was on. When he got behind the branch, I drew back my bow. When he stepped out, he lifted his head to sniff and rub on the branches above him. I figured he was going to notice me in the tree and run back into the corn or dart into the woods so I had to take the front shot. After I shot him, he ran right under my stand and the arrow fell out by the base of the tree. Then I heard him crash just behind me! I had to sit down because my breathing started getting heavy and my legs were not working the way they should…………the best part and why we all do this! I have never tagged out this early! I haven’t put any tape on him yet so I will let you know when I do. Thank you and good luck to all the other hunters!”
