Congrats to Luke DuBois with his bow buck taken on Halloween in Shawano County public land! Luke is a Plumbing Foreman working out of the Depere location.
“First Halloween buck for me. I got out early to this spot I had scouted back in August with a plan to sit all day. This buck came out behind me and hit my access trail at about 3:30pm. He didn’t like that and turned back around. I had 1 shot opportunity, but I wasn’t sure he was what I was looking for, so I passed. Right before dark he came back from the other way, but I still couldn’t tell if he was a shooter. Not until he hit my scent trail again and looked up at me. I thought it was over, but he slowly turned back around giving me a chip shot. He ran 45 yards and I heard him pile up in the cattails!”
