Brynden Beck Buck

Brynden Beck is back again with another impressive buck. Brynden was in his stand on Sunday, October 18, in Jackson County, Wisconsin, for an early afternoon sit with his bow. It was a pretty slow evening for the most part, until a doe and a 6-pointer showed up by his stand.

Then a 9-pointer arrived and got really aggressive toward the 6-pointer and the doe. He ran them both off and stood in an opening, giving Brynden a 27-yard shot. Brynden drew, settled on the deer, and released the arrow. He heard a loud crack when the arrow struck, and the buck took off down the hill and out of sight.

Brynden climbed down and went back to the shed to give the deer some time before starting the search. When they returned to the point of impact, they started finding blood. They trailed the buck and found him a little over 100 yards away. It was a good shot right behind the shoulder.

Brynden has become a regular in the Buck Pool standings in recent years, and this makes his third big buck in the past four seasons. He finished fifth in 2023 with a 141 1/8″ bow buck and fifth again last year with a 139 5/8″ another bow buck.

Brynden is a Service Technician Pre-Apprentice in our Wisconsin Rapids location. Congrats, Brynden, on another great buck!
