  • Cory Veeser Muzzle Loader Buck

    Cory Veeser Muzzle Loader Buck

Congrats to Cory Veeser with his buck taken this week with the muzzle loader! Cory was able to get out in the woods after work because of a scheduling mishap with his dentist. It was perfect timing as this buck came walking in behind two does just before dark and stopped broadsided at 50 yards. He put up his CVA Muzzle loader and put this guy down in his tracks! By the looks of it, this buck was a fighter as the G2 on its right antler is busted off along with it’s G4. Still a beautiful buck and I’m sure it will fill the freezer quite nicely! Cory is an Account Manager working out of our Depere location.

    Mike Weiting Score

Congrats to Mike on his Marinette County Buck currentyly sitting in 3rd place! Mike was able to bring in his rack into the office and after putting some tape to it, I came up with a 143 6/8″! Congrats Mike a great buck! This is a reminder for all you guys that are potentially in the top 5, please get your racks scored by either myself or a certified scorer in your area. Or maybe we could do a Facetime call and we can do it that way?? Good luck to everyone that is still hunting and be safe!

Sorry for all you Michiganders on this pool. I’ve never heard this term before this past week and I thought it was funny. All I can say is that I thought this was a doe running through a corn field when we were doing a deer drive on our lease in the Pound/Beaver area. Another perfect example of, “You don’t eat the horns!” I was still pretty excited to be able to put some meat in the freezer and get that adrenaline rush from it all! I also want to remind everyone to get your deer registered for the pool this year, big or small or no horns at all, you will be entered into a separate cash prize drawing.

You got it Dave! You are now entered into the bonus cash drawing! Good luck!
