    Adam Stankevich Family Success

Adam Stankevich and his wife Kasi were able to both tag bucks over the weekend! Adam was nice enough to write up a story so I will let him tell it:

“Both my wife and I filled our tags 11/19. Was a slow morning in the woods until after 8am the woods woke up. I ended up seeing 8 doe and not too long after, my buck came circling through. It definitely can go from 0-60 quickly sometimes. Long story short, I was in the stand my wife Kasi usually sits since she wasn’t going to get out until the afternoon. After that, she decided to give that stand a rest and just try where I bow hunt. Discouraged that there was no action and with the last few min of light fading, she looked up and her buck she got came running through the field. I had a hard time believing her at first because she texted she hadn’t seen a thing then I looked down and she said “I shot.” Not kings of the forest but, memories were made and tags were filled.”

What an awesome weekend for you two! You’re definitely right that it can happen so fast sometimes. Have to always be ready and you two certainly were. Nice job and thank you for the pics. You have a beautiful family!

    Abi Mleziva Freezer Filler

Ben Mleziva was nice enough to share his daughter Abi’s doe she tagged over the weekend. I love to see this as Ben is my neighbor and we have a good number of does running around and this surely helps out the herd in our area. Nice to see family members helping out with filling the freezer, great job Abi! Ben is a Project Manager out of our De Pere location currently flying back and forth from Arizona’s Nestle project.

  • Jess Coisman Buck

    Jess Coisman Buck

Congrats to Jess Coisman for his nice 8 point shot this past Sunday. He was also able to bag a nice doe which I’m sure he’ll make some great jerky out of and bring some in to his great co-workers!!! Hint, hint…Jess had a great hunt with his son Beau and by the looks of Beau’s pic, they were having an awesome time and making great memories. Jess is an estimator for the Food and Beverage team out of the De Pere location.

  • Tony Culver Buck

    Tony Culver Buck

Congrats to Tony Culver for his buck this past weekend! I tried to get Tony to send a pic with him in it but it was too late. I spoke with him on the phone and I will vouch for him on this one, lol. Tony is a steamfitter working on Project Cinco and recently went to Utah on the Pepperidge Farms project on short notice. He didn’t have much time to get a hunt in but he got the freezer full. Nice work Tony! Here is what he had to say:

“Well I am certain that it would have made the T/G record books if it wouldn’t have ran into a tree and busted one side off . I had 2 days to get it done so in the T/G spirit did it in one! Buck and a doe, good luck everyone!

  • Jesse Jeanquart Buck

    Jesse Jeanquart Buck

I have to clarify that Jesse, not his son Wyatt, killed this buck. Congrats Jesse! Still cool that you got to spend some time with your kids and have them witness your kill. Not sure how you got this buck but I can’t wait to see what it scores. Until then, it’s to be determined. Jesse is an Account Manager for our Food and Beverage division.

  • Mike Weiting Buck

    Mike Weiting Buck

Mike Weiting has messaged me that he got this brute yesterday afternoon! By the looks of it, he’ll be in the running for the top 5. Mike just sent me the pic and I’m trying to get more information I don’t have any information on this one and I honestly can’t wait any longer as the neighbors cornfield is being taken off right now and I have to get my ass out there! Stay tuned for updates on this one. Mike is a Systems Engineer working out the De Pere location.

  • Todd Poeschel Buck

    Todd Poeschel Buck

Congrats to Todd Poeschel on this awesome buck he tagged over the opening weekend! I got a text from him that said, “Altoona is on the board!” What a nice buck Todd! This buck was taken in Buffalo County. Todd put his tap[e on this guy and came up with an unofficial score of 142 7/8′. He i sgoing to bring him in to the taxidermist who will put an officail score on it. Until then, it looks like Todd is sitting in 3rd place for the years pool. congrats Todd! Here is what Todd had to say:

“He’s got a ton of mass. Think longest tine was about 10”. He was running hard in woods so didn’t have a lot of time to think about it. Tall and heavy but only bout 16” wide. On this farm we don’t bow hunt cause it’s leased so not quite as selective but would have shot him on any of my properties. They were rutting pretty heavy on this morning!”

  • Casey Liegeois WI Gun Buck

    Casey Liegeois WI Gun Buck

Congrats again to Casey Liegeois on tagging yet another buck this year! If anybody is looking for venison, give Casey a shout! What a crazy year and one for the ages for Casey! This is his 4th deer taken this year! Casey was able to bag this buck on public land in the Pembine area which makes it pretty special. Casey told me that this was by far the farthest and hardest drag he’s had in awhile as he was far off the beaten path. He found a spot after walking in 600 yards from a railroad grade and found a nice spot with lots of scrapes. Needless to say, I think Casey has figured out this hunting thing! Congrats again Casey!

  • Max Ronsman Buck

    Max Ronsman Buck

What a year for Max Ronsman. First, he guides his Luxemburg-Casco football team as the QB to a state runner-up on Thursday night, then was able to bag this buck opening weekend! Congrats Max! By the sound of it, his family had a great weekend as well as they were able to bring down four bucks! If you don’t know Max, he is a youth plumbing apprentice bouncing back and forth from the Tool Crib in Wrightstown and miscellaneous job sites. Keep your eye out for the upcoming wrestling season as Max looks to win another state title for the Spartans.

  • Jesse VanLaanen Public Land Gun Buck

Jesse VanLaanen Public Land Gun Buck

Congrats to Jesse VanLaanen on bagging yet another buck on public land. I’m pretty sure this is the same spot Jesse has gotten deer from in years past. I believe this was in Marinette County. Jesse is an Account Manager working out of the De Pere location. Here is what he had to say:

“Didn’t have high expectations. Didn’t see much during the bow season the last 2 weeks. This is the first deer taken on opening morning. Public land.”

  • Gene Rogatzki Buck

    Gene Rogatzki Buck

Congrats Gene on filling your tag this weekend and getting entered into the extra prize drawing for getting a deer! I don’t have a story on this hunt but if you don’t know Gene, he is an HVAC Tech working out the Altoona location.

  • Jeanquart Family Giants

    Jeanquart Family Giants

What an opening weekend the Jeanquart family had!!! Both Jesse and Josh were able to get their kids to fill their tags! Josh and Jesse are both part of the Food and Beverage division working out of the De Pere location. Jesse’s son Wyatt was able to put on a good shot on his dandy buck. All Jesse sent me was, “He didn’t go 20!” LMFAO, gotta love the Rut Daniels reference! To top that off, Josh’s daughter Mackenzie was able to bag her giant as well. I’m sure there was some celebratory cocktails being had over the weekend in the Brussels/Rosiere area. Congrats to you both! See the pics below:
