  • Grady Yaeger Buck

    Grady Yaeger Buck

Another proud dad moment for our very own Rob Yaeger, when his son Grady put down is biggest buck ever! Here is what Rob sent over:

“BBD!!! My son Grady (11 years old) shot this nice 8 point buck on Saturday morning. We have not seen a buck all gun season. This guy came in shortly after a doe had passed through stopping at a shooting lane at 55 yards. This is my son’s second buck. But first decent buck!! He is hooked on deer hunting for sure now!!

Way to go Grady! Rob Yaeger is an Account Manager working from our De Pere location. Great pic!

Congrats to Rod LeFevre on his opening day gun buck! Rod didn’t provide a story for this guy, but if he did have a story, it would be the greatest story ever told! Rod is an Account Manager out of our De Pere location.

  • Brett Zahorik Buck

    Brett Zahorik Buck

Congrats to Brett Zahorik on his nice 10 point buck taken this past Wednesday morning! I don’t have any details on this hunt but this buck looks like a contender for the top five bucks of the 2023 season! Reminder to everyone that has tagged one this year to get some tape on it so we can get this all updated. Get in contact with an official scorer or give me a call and set something up. If you don’t know Brett, he is a sheet metal foreman based out of our De Pere location.

  • Justin Johnson WI Gun Buck

    Justin Johnson WI Gun Buck

Congrats to Justin Johnson with his nice buck take on a spot and stalk strategy. He was with his two daughters and they actually spotted this guy about 300 yards away. Justin was able to get in position and put on a shot and dropped him in his tracks. The funny thing is, he used one of his daughters rifles to put this far shot on it and showed them how it’s done! Nice work Justin, I believe this is buck no. 2 for your family this year. Keep them coming everybody!

  • Nathan Coe Buck

    Nathan Coe Buck

Congrats to Nathan Coe on his dandy buck taken this past Wednesday! Nathan is the son of Nick Coe who is a Project Manager out of our De Pere location. I’m hoping they have room in their freezer with all the deer this family has taken this year! If you have any left over, I’ll take some venison hot sticks or sausage please! Nice work Nathan, I’m sure you made your parents proud!!

  • Dan Ebert Buck

    Dan Ebert Buck

Congrats Dan on your buck from the U.P.! I have to apologize to Dan as this story slipped through the cracks as I forgot to upload it to the site. Dan bagged this buck on the second day of the Michigan Gun season last week. Looks like they had a very successful hunt by the picture below with his Dad and his cousin also tagging out. Great job guys! Here is what Dan sent over:

“Big UP 5 pointer. He was hot on a doe and both shots through the boiler room and never phased him. He was hot after some tail, running dead.”

  • Jason Gerend Buck

    Jason Gerend Buck

Great job Jason on your U.P. buck! Gosh darn it, I wish you woulda put your mug in da picture but maybe it’s for da best…lol! Congrats on your buck Jason!! Jason is an estimator that sits right next to me everyday and I can give him as much shit as I want! I know he will give it back as I haven’t gotten one yet. He hails from the Village of Wrightstown. Here is what he had to say about his hunt:

“I shot this one late yesterday in the UP at 120 yards chasing a doe, nothing special, 4pts, I’ll get you a better picture with me in it later on the buck pole if you need it.”

  • Matt Uelmen Buck

  • Wow!!!

    Wow!!!

What a year we are having with the TG Buck Pool!!! We must be having a record amount of deer this year as I don’t remember spending this much time updating this website. I can say this has been a blast getting to know some of you that I never would’ve met without this buck pool. Great to see many stories and pictures coming in and especially from your kids. I hope you’re enjoying this as much as I am! Just a little reminder that when you do get one, please send in a pic with you in it and a little story to go with it if you can. The main reason we wanted to start this was to get to know everyone and to get a chance to win stuff! It hasn’t been too bad and it’s getting better every year. Most of you are catching on, lol! Keep them coming in and we will try and keep up. Stay tuned for a podcast this week as we will go thru all the stories that came in over opening weekend. Also a huge thank you to all of the vendors that sent in prizes. It gets better every year and we appreciate it very much! Stay safe, shoot straight, and remember to celebrate responsibly! Happy hunting! Check out the video below on how to make a homemade deer call and better your chances of getting that buck:

  • Dave Vaughan Strikes Again!

    Dave Vaughan Strikes Again!

Dave Vaughan was able to get another buck a couple weeks after his bow buck! He won’t go hungry this year! Dave was able to get this one in the Crivits area. Dave is a Plumbing Foreman currently in charge of the Lambeau Field projects. Here is what Dave had to say:

“Sunday 10:00. 150 yards stopped to smell doe piss dropped right there”

Dave is a man of few words but he gets his point across. Nice work Dave, I will try your approach. Me hungry, me want venison. Hunt in morning shoot deer. I hope this works for me!!! I can give Dave shit and I know he will give it back! Congrats again buddy!

  • Brad Davister Buck

    Brad Davister Buck

Brad Davister makes it back on the board with this 8 point taken over the weekend. He he didn’t officially score and and assumed he didn’t have to. Sometimes it really isn’t about the size of the rack that counts, it’s the excitement that comes with it! I agree it’s not a record breaking buck but it sure has symmetrical rack! Here is what Brad sent over for his story:

“Hey Jeff I wasn’t able to send this in until now. It took me longer to walk to my tree stand than it did to get this buck. I don’t know how it didn’t see me walk into the woods and climb up my tree stand, but when I turned around and sat down in my chair, I noticed what looked like the back of the deer. The leg moved, and the deer walk forward and out popped his head from a clump of trees. It was in the process of making a rub and sniffing in the leaves on the woods floor. It took two more steps and that’s all I needed. It probably took a total of two minutes to bag this buck.”

Brad, I have to say that this will not happen every time! Lol. Congrats again on a nice buck and please send over some of your luck!

  • Jake Joseph Buck

    Jake Joseph Buck

Congrats to recently turned out Steamfitter Journyman, Jake Joseph! Jake bagged this buck in Hillsboro, WI. I don’t have anything for a story on the nice 8 point but it must’ve been exited seeing this wide 8 point coming in! Jake is currently working on the Project Cinco project.
