Rod Jones in Ashland County with his first buck with a muzzle loader! The buck has a 14 1/2″ spread and carrying 9 points, congrats Rod! Rod is the Custom Equipment Design Manager with the Food and Beverage group and is working out of the De Pere office.

Joe Kapla (WI Gun)
Joe Kapla and his boy Wes posing with his buck taken in the Peshitigo area on 11/23. Joe is a pipe fitter for Local 400 and is currently working on the P&G project in Green Bay. Joe was hunting with fellow T/G employees Mike Paulsen and was on Tim Kamine’s property. Joe said, “It was a great hunt and even better to have Mike Paulsen help him drag it out. It was the hardest that Mike has worked all year!”

Pretty awesome buck by Charlie Brawner and his hunt with his son Andy! Nothing like making memories, congrats! Here is what Charlie had to say:
“It’s not going to win any contests, but here’s my buck from Saturday. My son was in the stand with me for the first time and this buck came wandering up the ridge. I would’ve passed on him, but I asked Andy if he wanted me to shoot and he got all excited and said, “Yeah, dad, shoot him!” I was glad to get a buck on his first day of deer hunting.”

Congrats to Todd Nicholas as he strikes again with his opening day 10 point taken in Green Lake County! Looks like there’s something going on with the genetics in that area as both his gun buck and bow buck have a kicker on the left main beam G2. What a year Todd has had and one that he will never forget. This buck field dressed at 186 lbs, way to go Todd!
